Suspected drunk driver arrested in Milwaukee

A driver suspected of operating a vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants (OWI) was recently arrested in Milwaukee after he caused an accident that resulted in the injuries of a woman and her kids, an article of Journal Sentinel reported.

36-year-old Chaze Biami’s blood alcohol level (BAC) was 0.14 percent when he drove his vehicle into the opposite lane of traffic and struck another vehicle head-on. The driver and her two children were brought to the hospital due to the injuries they sustained from the crash. Officer Fran McLaughlin of the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office said responding crews resuscitated the female victim before she was brought to the hospital. Biami, who also sustained injuries from the accident, is expected to face several charges after he was found to be driving with a revoked driver’s license.
