1 hurt after vehicle crashes into Racine Starbucks

On March 29, a woman suffered injuries after a vehicle driven by another woman plowed into a Starbucks Coffee shop in the Racine area, according to an article on

According to reports, at around 1:00 p.m., a woman operating a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) crashed into a Starbucks located at 2805 S. Green Bay Road. The woman, whose name was not released, told authorities that the accident happened after her foot apparently “slipped off” the brake pedal. A female customer inside the Starbucks suffered minor injuries to her face.

The injured customer, whose name was also withheld, received treatment at the crash scene and refused hospitalization. Another person who was at Starbucks later stated that the coffee shop ceased operations for the remainder of the day. Personnel from the Racine Fire Department provided assistance during the incident.
