Drunk driver arrested for eighth OWI in Wisconsin

Janesville authorities recently apprehended a male driver after he was suspected of operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol (OWI), according to a Wisconsin State Journal report.

Information coming from Janesville authorities revealed the offender, 43-year-old Chad Schneider, was initially charged with OWI after police arrested him near the intersection of West Milwaukee Street and South Jackson Street at around 4:00 on the afternoon of Saturday,  November 28. Schneider has dealt with charges of drunk driving before, as this most recent arrest marks his eighth OWI offense. Schneider also received citations for violation of his probation, driving with a revoked license, and driving an uninsured vehicle. Schneider was booked at Rocked County Jail.
