Drunk driver facing charge in deadly Beloit crash

A female from Janesville was charged in Rock County Circuit Court for driving drunk and becoming involved in a fatal accident in Beloit, the Journal Sentinel reported.

Reports said 20-year-old Mackenzi Sue Adams was charged with intoxicated driving causing homicide. A criminal complaint revealed that on June 13, at least two drivers left their vehicles to help Adams, whose car struck a barrier on mile marker 186. The accident occurred after an oncoming semi-trailer truck crashed into the three vehicles. The wife of one of the drivers, identified as 26-year-old Lake Geneva resident Jessica Lynn Border, was killed in the crash while her two children were severely injured. Responding authorities stated that signs of intoxication were apparent in Adams.
