Bicyclist hurt in Madison vehicular accident

A female bicycle rider was recently injured in the Madison area after she collided with a vehicle, WKOW reported on April 10.

Reports coming from authorities revealed that around 7:15 p.m. on April 8, a bicycle accident took place at the crossway of N. Franklin and E. Johnson Streets. The bicyclist, only identified as a 24-year-old woman, reportedly lost consciousness after she struck the vehicle operated by a 55-year-old man. Police stated that the victim was helped by two doctors who were in the area during the incident. The woman was believed to have sustained head injuries and was transported to a hospital. Authorities cited the vehicle driver for occupying the bike lane, thereby causing the accident.

Sadly, many bicycle riders are at risk of sustaining serious injuries in car accidents caused by reckless drivers. In this often tough situation, working with an experienced legal team could be crucial to pursuing financial compensation to cover recovery costs.
