Driver charged in Mt. Pleasant vehicular collision

A March 15 article of reported a two-vehicle accident in Mount Pleasant area where a driver was later charged after being suspected of intoxicated driving.

Reports said Racine dispatchers at 7:26 p.m. were notified of a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 32. A pickup operated by Robert Ritthaler struck a vehicle containing two people in the northbound lane. The collision caused severe damage to the two vehicles and a garage at Enos Avenue. Vehicle occupants, including Ritthaler, were not injured in the crash. Mt. Pleasant authorities later arrested Ritthaler after he showed signs of intoxication.
