GM issued recall to thousands of vehicles with faulty power steering

More than 81,000 General Motors (GM) vehicles in the U.S. are being recalled by the manufacturer to fix a problem affecting the power steering, a February 14 article of revealed.

Reports said older models of Pontiac G6, Malibu Maxx, and Chevrolet Malibu vehicles may be equipped with a power steering system that could potentially malfunction. When the problem occurs, drivers of the recalled vehicles may find it hard to control the steering wheel, especially at slower speeds. GM said that they are aware of an accident caused by this problem, however any deaths or injuries were not reported before the recall was issued.
