Polaris issues recall for thousands of faulty motorcycles in the US

Some 2,342 Polaris motorcycles in the U.S. are being recalled by the manufacturer due to a fuel pump problem that may increase the risk of injuries to its riders, Consumer Affairs reported on January 9.

Polaris Industries identified 11 models of 2013-2014 motorcycles that may have a faulty fuel pump. Motorcycle riders reportedly are at risk of crashing their vehicle if the fuel pump suddenly malfunctions. A manufacturing error possibly caused the problem in the motorcycle fuel pumps. On January 19, owners will be notified by Polaris dealers for the free replacement of their fuel pumps.
