A pregnant woman and her daughter recently suffered injuries in Racine after they were struck by a vehicle, an article on reported November 6.

Reports coming from Racine Police stated that the accident occurred around 6:00 p.m. on November 4. A pregnant woman, 31, and her 3-year-old daughter were struck by a vehicle while crossing the street. Witnesses stated that the gray SUV quickly sped away. The woman was badly injured and required an emergency C-section. The toddler only suffered minor injuries. Police are still investigating the incident, but believe they have identified the culprit.
