Reckless speeding driver kills two at intersection

Two women were killed and two others were injured in a multiple-vehicle crash in Milwaukee caused by a speeding vehicle that ran a red light, a Fox 6 article stated on July 10.

People who witnessed the fatal accident said a vehicle sped past a red traffic light signal at the intersection of Sherman and Burleigh with an estimated speed of 70 mph. The speeding vehicle, a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) driven by a 62-year-old woman reportedly crashed into a vehicle which then caused the collision of two other vehicles. The two female occupants of the first vehicle were killed, and the drivers of the other vehicle sustained injuries. The 62-year-old SUV driver was held and appropriate charges were filed against her.
