Just under 4000 2013-2014 Range Rover SUVs in the US recalled

Automaker Jaguar Land Rover has issued a voluntary recall of at least 3,912 new models of Range Rover SUVs in the U.S. due to a possible airbag malfunction, as NBC News reported on January 3.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), a connector in the airbag systems of 2013-2014 models of Range Rover SUVs may suddenly disengage, resulting in airbags failing to deploy in accidents. No one has been reportedly injured yet due to the recalled vehicles, the NHTSA stated.

The British automaker has already coordinated with owners to have their Range Rovers repaired by improving the connector in the airbag systems. Repairs will start on January 17.

The injuries and losses a victim may sustain due to an airbag malfunction can be devastating. At Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ®, we fight to help people in Racine who have been harmed by such auto defects to get the financial compensation and justice they need. Call us at (262) 554-6200 today.
