Thousands of BMW cars with potential brake issues recalled

At least 76,200 BMW vehicles are being recalled by the automaker due to potential problem that may cause the brakes to work improperly, according to an article published by USA Today on October 1.

According to reports, the brakes of Series 1, 3, and 5 sedans, the X1 and X3 SUVs, and the Z4 sports car, 2012-2014 models, may fail to work normally if the oil supply is interrupted. With the problem, the recalled vehicles will require more pressure to step on the gas pedal, making it difficult to stop.

Owners of the affected BMW vehicles are advised to have their vehicles pulled by a tow truck if the brakes begin to malfunction.
