Lamar Odom charged with misdemeanor DUI

Former Los Angeles Clippers veteran player Lamar Odom was arrested after he was suspected of driving under the influence on a California freeway on Friday, August 30, according to authorities from the California Highway Patrol.

The 33-year-old player was arrested before 4 a.m. after he was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol when seen driving in a “serpentine manner” on the 101 Freeway. The basketball player reportedly refused to undergo chemical testing, leading to a one year suspension of his driver’s license, and was arrested after failing a sobriety field test given to him.

Lamar was booked in Van Nuys but was released hours later, according to jail records.
