Reckless driving accident leaves woman with head injury

A 28-year-old woman was charged with reckless driving after an incident that left her friend with a skull fracture.

According to police officials, the incident began on Sept. 9 when a woman was sitting on the hood of a car and the woman pulled out of the garage as a joke. The woman jumped on the hood as the 28-year-old driver slammed on the brakes.

This caused the 19-year-old to fall off the car and onto the pavement. She sustained a skull fractured as a result, but wrote a letter to the judge that asked him to go easy on the woman because she was a “victim of her own crime.”
