Woman arrested for OWI after high-speed chase

A woman was arrested for drunk driving and fleeing from police after an incident that lead police on a 12-mile high speed chase.

According to police, the incident began when the 20-year-old woman was pulled over on the side of the road and an officer attempted to pull over and assist. As the officer began to stop, the woman fled off.

Police chased her for 12 miles with speeds reaching nearly 110 mph. Once stopped, the woman’s blood alcohol level was found to be at .244, which is three times the legal limit. A judge has recently set the woman’s bond at $500.
