Police step up enforcement on Super Bowl Sunday

Wisconsin police stepped up the number of patrol units on the roadway on Sunday in order to prepare for an increased number of impaired drivers on the roadway after the Super Bowl.

According to statistics, the number of drunk driving arrests is usually 30 to 40 percent higher on Super Bowl Sunday then it is on a normal Sunday during the year.

In order to combat this, police officers increase patrol so that drivers know to designate a friend or family member as the sober driver. Brown County initiated an OWI task force last year in order to cut back on the number of drunk drivers and officials have stated that the results have been “tremendous.”

If you or a loved one has been injured as a result of a drunk driving accident, you need representation on your side that can help you fight for the compensation you deserve. Contact the drunk driving accident lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier, S.C., by calling 800-242-2874 today.
