Man Injured in Racine Motorcycle Accident

A man was injured in a Racine motorcycle accident Sunday night.

According to officials with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department, a motorcycle accident occurred at the intersection of West Lake Drive and Lakeview Drive shortly after 8:00 p.m. Police say the man was traveling south on Lakeview Drive when he lost control of his vehicle for unknown reasons and left the roadway. Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the accident.

According to Sergeant Scott Krogh of the Racine County Sheriff’s Department, the motorcyclist was ejected from his vehicle in the accident. He was transported by ground ambulance to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa for treatment. Krogh said the man was unconscious when crews arrived at the scene. No information on the nature or extent of his injuries was available.
The accident remains under investigation by the Racine County Sheriff’s Department.
