Three Injured in Racine Auto Accident

Three people were injured in a Racine car accident Wednesday afternoon.

According to officials with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred near the intersection of U.S. Highway 41 and Highway 33. Deputies say the driver of a pickup truck lost control of his vehicle on a slippery stretch of westbound Highway 33. The pickup truck crossed the center line and collided with two sport utility vehicles at County Highway H.

A passenger in the pickup truck was critically injured in the crash, according to the accident report. The driver of the pickup truck and one of the SUV drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the accident. The three victims were transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.
