One Injured in Racine Rollover Accident

One person was injured in a Racine rollover accident Wednesday morning.

According to officials with the Racine Police Department, the three-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of State and Main streets shortly before 10:30 a.m. Authorities say a red Ford pickup truck belonging to Dan Kooping, of Racine,  was on its drivers side near the middle of the intersection when police arrived.

According to Lt. Todd Schulz, the accident did not appear serious. One vehicle was towed away from the scene.

The accident remains under investigation by the Racine Police Department. Racine Fire Battalion Chief James Madisen said police were redirecting traffic from the intersection for about an hour Wednesday while crews worked to clear the scene.
