Oak Creek Woman Injured in Racine Rollover Accident

An Oak Creek woman was injured in a Racine car accident Monday morning.

According to officials with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred shortly after 6:00 a.m. at West 7 Mile Raod near 60th Street. Police say 28 year-old Angela Houk-Mattson was traveling east on 7 Mile Road, passing another vehicle, when she lost control of her car on an icy patch on a bridge.

Deputies say Houk-Mattson’s vehicle rolled over and struck a guardrail on the bridge.

Houk-Mattson was transported to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa for treatment. She was released Tuesday morning.
