Man Injured in Racine Motorcycle Accident

A man was injured in a early morning motorcycle accident in Racine Sunday.

According to officials with the Racine Police Department, 43 year-old L.C. Knuckles was traveling eastbound on Washington Avenue in Racine shortly after 2:00 a.m. Sunday when the accident occurred. Police say Knuckles was traveling at a high rate of speed when he struck a car at the intersection of Washington Avenue and South Memorial Drive.

The driver of the car will likely not be ticketed, according to a statement from the Racine Police Department.

Knuckles was transported, by ambulance, to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa following the crash.
