3-Vehicle Racine Crash Results in Minor Injuries

Three people sustained minor injuries in a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of 7 Mile Road and 76th Street Saturday afternoon.

According to officials with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred shortly after 4:30 p.m. when a Toyota Corolla, driven by a 21 year-old Oak Creek woman, was traveling east on 7 Mile Road and failed to stop at a stop sign. Police say a southbound Suzuki SUV, driven by a 39 year-old man, struck the Corolla and then hit a northbound Honda SUV, driven by a 28 year-old woman.

Authorities say the 21 year-old woman was transported, by Flight For Life, to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa. The two other drivers were taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The accident remains under investigation.
