Overnight Snow Makes Hazardous Conditions

The National Weather Service issued a winter advisory in Racine County warning drivers to be careful on the road. Racine County was expected to get 6-8 inches of snow last night in addition to some light snow on Saturday. The snow and wind can decrease visibility, making unsafe travel conditions.

Snow drifts could occur in the afternoon today, because winds are expected to reach 20-25 miles per hour. Scattered snow could occur tomorrow as well, the Weather Service says. Drivers are asked to take extra precautions traveling in these hazardous conditions.
