Officials with the Wisconsin State Patrol have stated that the accident occurred when the 22-year-old driver of the pickup truck was traveling down the roadway and did not take a turn on the road appropriately.

His vehicle then ran off the side of the road and stuck a ditch. The vehicle then flipped and rolled over. The driver died as a result of injuries sustained and the passenger was extricated from the car in order to be transported from to the hospital. Police are still investigating the crash at this time.

According to officials, witnesses on the roadway called law enforcement in order to state that a minivan driver was driving erratically down the roadway.

Witnesses stated that the 64-year-old man was reaching speeds between 90 and 100 mph, not stopping at stop signs and honking repeatedly.

The accident occurred on Highway 41 when the driver attempted to go in between two vehicles on the southbound side of the road. The man was arrested after the crash and the 47-year-old injured woman was taken to the hospital.

According to police officials, the accident occurred on Dairyland Road when the 34-year-old driver of a Toyota Corolla lost control of her car and struck an Explorer.

The driver of the SUV along with a 6-year-old riding in the car suffered injuries in the crash. The 34-year-old woman was killed in the accident and the 35-year-old man in the passenger seat suffered serious injuries.

DNR officials have stated that the events will either be changed to candlelight hiking events or completely cancelled, according the Chicago Tribune.

According to officials with the sheriff’s department, the accident occurred when the 22-year-old driver of the car lost control causing his car to veer into a ditch.

Authorities believe the tanker truck was driving southbound on Losey Boulevard when it rolled onto the compact car.  The driver of the car had to be removed with the jaws of life, and taken to the hospital for injuries.

“One of the main concerns when we arrived on scene was the fuel saddle tank on the truck was right over top of the vehicle and it had extensive damage to the tank, but fortunately it stayed intact,” said Fire Chief Tom Wallerich.
