Charitable Funds

The Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® Charitable Foundation was created in 1999 by the attorneys of Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® for the express purpose of allowing the law firm and its employees to give back to the communities in which they practice. Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® has thirteen offices located throughout the State of Wisconsin and currently employs 39 attorneys. In 2004, Charitable Funds were established by the Habush Habush & Rottier Charitable Foundation in the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, the Madison Community Foundation, the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin and the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region. The Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® Charitable Funds are particularly interested in funding projects related to consumer safety, youth safety, health issues and legal or law related matters tied to the preservation of the civil justice system and the right to trial by jury. Since 1999 the Habush Firm’s Charitable Funds have distributed over 81,500 bicycle helmets to children throughout the State of Wisconsin who did not have a helmet or whose families were not able to purchase helmets. Most of the helmets are distributed at bike safety rodeos and summer safety programs run by police departments and community organizations throughout Wisconsin, where children learn bike safety and practice bicycle safety by riding through obstacle courses designed to teach the young bikers how to react to everyday traffic situations. In addition, many police officers around the state distribute bicycle helmets to neighborhood children while on patrol. In this way the helmet program helps promote positive, open relationships between local authorities and youth.
